    Introduction

    In order to ensure efficient and transparent management of this project two committees have been formed:

  • The Steering Committee - composed of members taken from the research consortium, would regularly review technical and organisational aspects of the sequencing programme as well as provide a forum within the consortium for regular reviews of progress.

  • The Advisory Committee - this independent committee provides expert external review of the programme, ensuring satisfactory progress as well as reviewing and prioritising external project requests for sequencing capacity from within the programme.
